Could this be placed over an area that has grass already but doesn't grow well? Will weeds grow through it with the holes?

Answer:  We put the turf over our entire back yard because it was very shaded and little to no grass would grow. Before putting the turf down we killed what little grass and weeds were there and then overlaid the turf. We have not had any weeds or grass grow through the turf. The only place we have seen a few grasses sprout is along the edge of the turf where we had to cut around and tuck in a tree trunk, even then the few blades of grass is growing along the tree and not through the turf. I just pull them every so often. We have had the turf down since early April 2017 to give a time reference and have had no issues.

Can i buy a custom size where i send you the measurements and you can quote me how much it would be?

Answer: Yes, we can not customize the size for you according the field, but normally the size for each roll is about 2m or 4m width, length is 25m, and length is customize, the width only can produce by 2m or 4m because of the prodcution macine. But if you need small pieces, I suggest you purchase a little larger size and cut it yourself to fit your area perfectly.
