2.Can I install synthetic grass on top of my existing lawn ?
This is not generally recommended as the existing grass will die and compact to give an
uneven surface. However if you the surface is even and has good drainage then this is possible.
3.What maintenance is required?
Very little indeed .You need to remove any other thing which falls onto the grass with garden
broom will remove any things on the artificial grass as well as helping realign the fibres . if you
have chosen artificial grass with infill, then it will smooth this at the same time. As the artificial
grass is permeable, any rain water will run through the infill and clean it at the same time.
4.What sort of base is acceptable?
There are three types of base we recomment . they are concrete floor , asphalt and sand
base . For the concrete and asphalt base ,Its require the drainage systerm round the sites
where will be installed the artificial grass and the floor should have a 3% slope of the total floor .
however , it is very seriouse requirement of the sand floor . the sand floor should be even .
besides , when install the artificial grass above the sand base , the artificial grass should be
fixed with nails.
5.How do I clean my synthetic turf lawn?
There are two options available for you. You can either let nature take it's course
(i.e let the rain clean it!) or you can simply wash it down with a hosepipe. To keep your lawn
looking brand new, we recommend giving it a quick brush once every 6 months. This
keeps the pile standing up and looking clean.
6.Is there any long-term effect from the sun?will the sun harm the synthetic turf or make it fade?
